The best California Sound, The Beach Boys at Starlite Festival

What a treat to have these musical legends in Marbella. The Beach Boys are considered one of the 100 most influential rock bands in history. Their songs make us dream of Surf, Sand, Sun, Cars and Romance. 
“Barbara Ann”, “Don`t worry”, “Kokomo”, were some of the 40 odd songs they played during the concert.

Mike Love still has that charisma to get the audience up and dancing away and the band, specially the guitarist and sax were amazing. Mike had his son Christian play “Piscis” and with Ambha he sang a duet. Music is definitely in their genes. 

The video showed footage of a past filled with music highlights, the band, surfing, cars, and romance. From the sixties till now the surfers sound is unmistakable.  Feel-good music enjoyed by all ages. 
Everybody in the audience sang along with Mike Love to “Fun, Fun, Fun” written back in 1964.  
Starlite is now in its 8th edition and each time it gets better. 

Today the programme continues with Il Divo, the tenors and on Saturday it will be Maluma, the reggaetón musician of the moment., followed by The Kool and The Gang on the 16th of July.  All concerts start at 10pm.
