During the London Art Fair, art and design have been the main characters of the London Giorgetti Store, where the brand presented an exhibition in collaboration with the Cortesi Art Gallery and revealed a preview of two products from the 2022 collection |
On the occasion of the London Art Fair, the most important fair of modern and contemporary art in the UK, Giorgetti carried on the collaboration with Cortesi Art Gallery bringing in the London Store the art&design format “Giorgetti Walks With Art“, first featured in Milano at the end of March. The Cortesi Art Gallery was founded in 2013 in Lugano by the Cortesi family and specialized in art from the 1950s to the present. |
From April 20th to 23rd, the Giorgetti store in London has hosted a selection of unique works by artists from the second half of the 20th century, including Agostino Bonalumi, Francesco Carozza, Andrea Cascella, and Maurizio Donzelli. This project celebrates the inseparable link between the world of design and the world of art. Two complementary languages that entertain increasingly frequent exchanges: the ability to dialogue with different worlds, to open to new suggestions by following trajectories that are often far from conventional paths, perfectly in the Giorgetti’s style. |
During the art exhibition, the Giorgetti Store also became the stage for a preview to the British market of two new 2022 products: the BOREALIS screen designed by Roberto Lazzeroni and the MONTGOMERY seating collection by Dainelli Studio.Versatile products with an unmistakable character, sophisticated but never conventional. In a perfect balance between craftsmanship and the most advanced technologies, the proposals celebrate Giorgetti’s passion for detail and its continuous search for the highest quality, through the sartorial attention to workmanship and the use of highly selected materials, the fil rouge of all the collections. |
The synergy between design and the world of art has given rise to a conceptual path in which Giorgetti’s works and products integrated naturally and spontaneously into the volumes of the Store, the first Giorgetti mono-brand Store in the United Kingdom, which opened in 2020.Overlooking Fulham Road, in the exclusive Chelsea district, a reference point for design in the English capital, the showroom is on two levels, with a total surface area of 400 square meters, displaying products from the Giorgetti collection, including the most recent novelties and iconic pieces: designed to emphasize the design culture typical of the brand, each element of the Store is conceived to demonstrate the company’s ability to offer a true lifestyle. The furnishing elements, with detailed identities, dialogue with each other in harmony: languages, finishes and colours combine with a natural elegance in original and customizable compositions. |
