Boucheron, the first jeweler on the Place Vendôme, launches an original short film celebrating the 160th anniversary of the Maison and also the 160th anniversary of the Amitié Franco-Japonaise.
In the form of a reinterpretation of “Cinderella” by Charles Perrault, it expresses the spirit of freedom – being true to oneself, following one’s instinct, daring to break the rules and expressing one’s personality…which is a strong message of the Maison Boucheron.
In a leading role is a French charismatic actress Laetitia Casta who is the ambassador of the Maison Boucheron, with the most popular and successful Japanese actor Issey Takahashi as a co-star.
Directed by Kazuaki Seki, the most-viewed and talented movie creator, with the script by Yukiko Motoya, Akutagawa award winning novelist and script writer.
The film created by all these TOP creators of France and Japan embodies the free and audacious spirit of this High Jewelry Maison with 160 years of history.
