BUBBA WATSON RETURNS TO WINNING FORM AT THE GENESIS OPEN

The Genesis Open is the place where everything stopped but also where everything started again for Bubba. Two years after his last PGA win at the Genesis Open, Bubba Watson came back last weekend. He won his third title by two strokes, ahead of Kevin Na, on the Riviera Country Club course at Pacific Palisades, California.

Richard Mille is proud to see their partner return to the highest level of competition and happy that his difficult moments are now behind  him. 2016-2017 was marked by a low spell. Having lost faith in his golf and even thinking of a possible retirement but he knew he could rest on the unfailing support of his family and sponsors, including Richard Mille, together encouraging Bubba to face this new season in the greatest way possible.

On Sunday, Bubba played a steady front nine but was very strong on the back nine where he shot 3 under par, highlighted by his holed bunkershot on the par 3 14th hole, ‘I cannot believe it, confides Watson, There is so much emotion going through my head right now, it’s the most important victory of my career I think.’ This victory is also important for his ranking in the FedEx Cup as it is Bubba’s 10th title on the PGA Tour and ranks him now in 18th position. Simply incredible for someone who, up until a few days ago, was out of the top 100.

Devoted to his RM 38-01 Quartz TPT®, Bubba Watson has returned victorious. We congratulate our long-time partner for his fantastic return to the front, as Bubba has brought much to the brand, both in human and technical terms which deserves to be recognised.
