Players’ Club Solheim and old winners round off a Costa del Sol Andalusia Costa del Sol Women’s Open Spanish full of quality

Five experienced Solheim Cup players, three former winners and five Andalusians are the most grandiose sporting points of the impending Andalusian Costa del Sol Open in Spain, the European Professional Tournament that will take place at the RCG Guadalmina (Malaga) between the 21st and the 24 of September with the main sponsorship of Tourism of Andalusia, Tourism Costa del Sol and Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol.

Suzanne Pettersen, Georgia Hall, Florentyna Parker, Azahara Muñoz and Carlota Ciganda bring the Solheim Cup experience to a competition that looks spectacular, concentrating among them a number of titles that make them de facto top contenders for the title at stake.   Special mention for Norway’s Suzann Pettersen, a real world golf star with 2 Majors, 15 PGA victories and 6 in the left-handed LET, also part of the European team of the Solheim Cup since 2002.   The Nordic player will find serious opposition in Azahara Muñoz and Carlota Ciganda, the two great icons of Spanish women’s golf based on their great and repeated results in both the American and European Circuits.

There are also two English women’s teams in the Solheim Cup, the more mature Florentyna Parker, with three victories – the last of them in Spain in mid-April at the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open- and the young promise Georgia Hall, who has broken into the continental landscape with great strength, adding two prestigious positions in the World Ladies Championship and the Ricoh Women’s British Open this season that give him a leading role.

The entrance to watch the four days of competition – from the 21st to the 24th of September – of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Women’s Open Spain is free.
