5.         BEST FOR FOODIES – ALILA MANGGIS – BALI

 

For little budding chefs, Alila Manggis offers the ‘Junior Chef’ cooking classes. Guided by the hotel chef, children will bake ‘Jaje LakLak’ – a local delicacy. While these are baking, the children get to visit the kitchen garden to plant a new herb and learn the names of some of the existing plants. This experience supports Alila’s “green bank” initiative which incentivises the local children in their plastic rubbish collection activities to make Bali a cleaner place.
