Cooking with Georgia Tsara at Selene Meze & Wine Tavern SANTORINI

A perfect opportunity to learn how to cook traditional dishes and to try the Santorini wines.
Santoríni has a notable local cuisine, relying on indigenous white eggplants, fáva (split yellow peas, not the sound-alike broad bean), baby tomatoes, caper greens, cheeses, and sausages from neighbouring islands.
Yiorgos Hatziyannakis, head chef at Pyrgos village’s acclaimed Selene Restaurant and Bistro, has been instrumental in the revival and promotion of traditional island cooking.
Selene offers three foodie experiences.
The most popular is a guided folklore museum visit, short cooking demonstration and set bistro menu.
Each day is dedicated to thematic cooking classes and after you have prepared the dishes, at about 2.00 p.m. you will be able to enjoy the meal you cooked, served with a bottle of delicious wines from Santorini.

The cooking classes are semi-private: Min. 2 Max. 12 participants

Price with lunch: 180 euros p.p.

Duration: 5 hours approximately

Price without lunch: 130 euros p.p.

Duration: 3 ½ hours approximately
